Day 1, Johannesburg
Upon arrival in the "City of Gold", you are met and assisted with the transfer to your hotel, The Westcliff. Situated in the peaceful northern suburbs of Johannesburg, The Westcliff offers visitors an elegant retreat amid lush hillside terraces. Enjoy a "Borah Spice" spa treatment this afternoon to help eliminate the effects of jet lag.

At the Westcliff, guests will enjoy a wide range of superb amenities, including an intimate restaurant, convivial cocktail bar, lounge, a pool terrace with a magnificent view over the Zoological Gardens and boutique. Within the hotel grounds, you will find first-class tennis courts, two large heated swimming pools and a health and beauty salon. Also within easy access of the hotel, you will find the Houghton Golf Course and several health, tennis and squash clubs.

Days 2 through 5, Johannesburg / Botswana
You are transferred to Johannesburg Airport this morning and board your Air Botswana flight to Maun. On arrival, after clearing Customs, meet with your pilot and board the aircraft for the flight to your first safari camp.
Five days will be spent game viewing in the beautiful and incomparable wilderness and surrounding areas of the Okavango Delta.
Four-wheel drive open vehicles are used for gameviewing. The guides will maneuver the vehicles into the best possible position for you to take that "close-up" photo that you will treasure for the rest of your life.
Your safari in Botswana will be four nights, staying at Orient Express Safari Camps. Transfers between camps are by light aircraft.

Khwai River Lodge is situated on the shady banks of the Khwai River, a tributary of the Okavango on the northern boundary of the Moremi Reserve. The Okavango 's unpredictable waterways find their way over the thirstlands of northwestern Botswana, creating a lush delta of tree-fringed islands and secret channels. These lush waterways form the wetlands and riverine forests of the Moremi. While staying at Khwai, you will enjoy private use of your safari vehicle.
Eagle Island Camp offers prolific birdlife on the island and surrounding delta. All one hears is the "swish" of the paddle and the "plop" of the fish eagle as you take a tranquil mokoro (dugout canoe) trip through the delta. Over 1100 species exist in the varied ecosystem that comprises the Okavango Delta. You will also have the opportunity to enjoy game drives in addition to a 45 minute scenic helicopter flight over the delta for some aerial wildlife viewing.

Day 6, Botswana / Livingstone, Zambia
After a morning of game viewing, reluctantly bid farewell to your new found "bush friends" as you board the flight to Livingstone, where you will be transferred to your hotel near the legendary falls. Enjoy a "sundowner" cruise on the Zambezi River. Your boat makes its way slowly upstream along the length of the Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park looking for game on the way.

The Royal Livingstone Hotel is situated on the banks of the Zambezi River, close to the falls. The resort has been lovingly crafted to create the impression of being in another place in time. Each room offers a quiet retreat from the ruggedness of Africa, with large shaded verandas and open spaces cooled by swirling fans and tall shutters. The travellers bar and lounge is a place where guests can relax under thatched shade, decorated in harmonious greens, creams and ebony. The Royal Livingstone is a place to enjoy the majesties of Africa with all the charms of a bygone era.

Day 7, Livingstone
During your sightseeing excursion this morning, you will be taken on a conducted tour of Victoria Falls, truly one of the wonders of the world, followed by a short boat ride to Livingstone Island. From the island, in the middle of the river, you will witness some unique and awe-inspiring views of the falls, which are also called Mosi-oa-Tunya or "the smoke that thunders". (B)

Day 8, Livingstone / Johannesburg
You are transferred to the airport today for your flight to Johannesburg. Once at Johannesburg International Airport, you will connect to your international departure flight. (B)
